I can hardly believe I’m typing this, but here we go… I signed a book deal. For real.

This book isn’t just another project—it’s a revolution in print. I’m bringing everything I know, everything I teach, everything the traditional medical system ignores, straight into the hands of the providers who need it most. Because let’s be honest—postpartum care is broken, and it’s time we fix it.

But here’s the truth: this never would have happened without you.

It takes some serious courage to stand up to a broken system. To admit that after years of training, something is missing. To demand better care. To question what’s been handed down as “fact” and say, actually, we can do better. Whether you’ve joined my programs, shown up for a masterclass, shared this work, or even just taken the time to read this email (in what little time you have), you are part of this movement.

And this—this is the thing that will change the world.

Not just this book. Not just me. But us. Together.

So from the deepest part of my heart, thank you. For believing in this work. For pushing for better care. For being part of something bigger than all of us.

We’re doing this. We’re changing postpartum care. And we’re just getting started. ❤️

🍛 The 4 Stages of Postpartum Depletion

If you were there, you already know: last week’s 4 Stages of Postpartum Depletion Masterclass was nothing short of legendary.

Every time we host this training, it gets bigger and bigger, but this? This was something else. Hundreds of providers, doulas, midwives, nutritionists, IBCLCs, and birth professionals from all over the world showed up ready to change the future of postpartum care.

And let me tell you… they showed up. 🔥

The chat was on fire, the energy was electric, and we weren’t just skimming the surface—we were going deep. We talked about the massive market shift happening in postpartum care, how nutrition is the foundation of maternal health, and why so many providers feel like they’re missing critical education (because they are).

By the time we wrapped, the Postpartum Nutrition Certification was nearly full.

And I mean before we even opened it to the public.

If you were on the waitlist, you know exactly what I’m talking about. We had nearly 1,000 people waiting for the doors to open, and when they did, spots flew. (Honestly, I’m still reeling from how fast it all happened.)

I know some of you had every intention of attending but couldn’t make it live. So here’s the good news:

I pulled a sneak peek just for you.

But listen—if you missed the masterclass AND you’re still on the fence about joining the Postpartum Nutrition Certification, now is the time to act.

We just opened up a few more seats for those who take the time to watch this replay and truly feel the call. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

If this work speaks to you, don’t wait. This is your moment.

Grab your spot before it’s too late.

This field is changing—fast. You can either get ahead of it or get left behind. And trust me when I say, the providers stepping into postpartum nutrition are leading the revolution.

Are you coming? Let’s go!!

🩺 New Study: How Birth Trauma and Depression Reshape Maternal Neurobiology

This new research underscores what many in the postpartum field have long suspected—birth experiences and perinatal depression symptoms leave a measurable imprint on the maternal brain. Researchers found that a more challenging birth experience was linked to increased hippocampal volume, while worsening perinatal depression symptoms correlated with changes in the right amygdala—both key areas for memory, emotional regulation, and stress response.

These findings reinforce the urgent need for holistic postpartum care that prioritizes not just physical recovery, but mental and emotional well-being. Tracking these neuroanatomical shifts could be groundbreaking in how we prevent and treat perinatal mental health conditions, proving once again that postpartum care is brain care. (Shoutout to Emma Cutchen for sending this!)
